04 · The mark’s story

The Marwanids — also called the Dustakids — were a Kurdish dynasty of Diyar Bakr, from the late tenth century to 1085. Their capital was Mayyafariqin, today’s Silvan. Their river was the Tigris. Their founder, Bādh ibn Dustak, came from the Çêharbuxtî line; the name Dostikî still remembers Dustak, the father of that house. ARKAION Marwanid Wallets takes those four facts and puts them in the hand. The case is a closed metal square — 70 × 100 mm, 2.75 × 3.93 inches — ten accordion slots, RFID-blocking by design.
